Thorpe won again!
Watched Athens 2004 swimming men 200m freestyle final just now...
It was a highly anticipated event for many people as the two top swimmers: Ian Thorpe (AUS) and Michael Phelps (USA) will compete for the gold medal...
As usual, I support Thorpe, and he won the gold...(actually, I should be so happy as after this medal, Australia is only behind China by one gold medal... Though I know after the track and field event starts, USA will be undoubtedly the top gainer in the medal list...) Phelps only came in the third, which is quite disappointed to me as I thought he would be the strongest competitor to Thorpe on his road to the gold... anyway, Phelps is only 19 years old (even younger than me as he is born in June)... he has plenty of time to gain his experience.... as well as glory...
However, China seems not doing very well in the badminton event right now...
Later, there will be men gymnastic team final and diving finals which are all events that China may win medals (GOLD MEDALS!!) really looking forward to watch it and give my full support to the athletes... but thinking about tomorrow I will still be having lessons ( a long day somemore)... I may just abort the idea...
All my best for China!
